PC Low fps but High on youtube benchmarks

So my PC has really low FPS on games like overwatch, but when I check benchmarks from other people with the same specs, they get 60+ fps, when I only get about 40 on 50 render scale, please help.


My specs are :
Intel core i7-3770 3.40 GHz
12GB RAM
Nvidia GT 630


Don't know what else would be necessary, thanks.

YouTube is no way to compare systems. Your video card is pretty weak and your RAM may not be setup for best speed. Do you have 3 sticks or RAM or 4? If 3, you should remove one to run the system in dual channel mode instead of having one dual channel and a single channel setup.

Run a real benchmark on the system and see if the card compares to others. In PassMark list the GT 630 has a score of 789, run that on your system and see what you get.

Thank you for your reply, what is that real benchmark? A program? And I only have 3 ram sticks, if I remove one, will it make a big improvement? Thank you. I also have been having issues lately, in which I receive an alert saying that my video card has stoped working and has recovered.

Yes a program, 3DMark, PassMark. And the crashing of the video card is a big issue also, it's likely failing or your power supply is. May be time for a new video card. If you have a UEFI BIOS, which you should, do a BIOS update on the system and figure out a budget for an upgrade. Even a lower end new card like an nVidia 1030 or AMD RX 550 will be a big improvement over a GT 630.
