I ve tried to install the CPU onto the motherboard and I think I screwed up (bent pins), I ve RMA the motherboard and I m yet to get a response in case i get another one.

However Im stressed out.. I need to know if my CPU (i7 6700) will be fine.. Can you tell me if this little scratch will affect in any way the CPU? I went away and test it on another motherboard and it booted up with no problems but I still think about it being broken or something, I dont know anymore. Can you give me any tips, maybe some one encountered this problem as well and can confess something to me..

Here are the photos with the cpu, it has a little scratch on the left side of it..

Solution
Wait for the replacement board to come through and drop it in. If the system doesn't exhibit any issues, you're overthinking/stressing out on this ;)

I think if you didn't bend any of the CPU's pins, it will be perfectly fine. If all you did was bent the motherboard's pin, then you will be fine. Just wait for the replacement.

Thank you guys for replying, actually I sent the motherboard and I m yet to get an answer regarding if they will give me money back or another replacement.

Today I went to a IT shop and tested it there, the guy said it fired up just fine, now I dont know if that scratch can affect performance in any way..maybe I m overthinking this but I ll keep updated this thread when it comes in a few days
