RX 580 vs gtx 1060 directx11

Once the mining craze is over, I'm gonna upgrade my 750 ti to a much better gpu. I'm not sure whether I should go with the RX 580 8gb or the gtx 1060 6gb. I'm using windows 7 so I can only use directx11. The rx 580 4gb might also be an option.
Which would you guys recommend?

For DX11 games and earlier, the 6GB GTX 1060 will usually win. It's also much more power efficient. The AMD RX 580 is a great card, but it is basically an overclocked / more power demanding version of the RX 480.
