I was looking online for this issue and found a few posts. Ive tried everything (HPET disable, use older driver, remove and reinstall driver, put sound card on different PCIe slot, put sound card on another win 10 PC) and the issue persists. I have a 5.1 audio setup and have the speakers connected via analog. When I check the speaker setup in Windows and Creative panel and perform a noise test, the wrong speakers sound. The center channel sounds when the rear left is selected, the rear right never even makes a sound, the rear left sounds when center is selected, the bass never works. I tried with another sound card (X-Fi Titanium PCIe) and it works fine. Please help.

The Sound Blaster Z was working fine a week ago. Not sure what caused all this. I forgot to mention that I had the Pax Z drivers installed 2017 and then switched over to Creative drivers with the same results.

Sounds to me like either the card is faulty, or you have connected the speakers incorrectly.

I wish that connecting it was the case but I have checked multiple times, also reviewed the sound blaster manual to ensure the cables are connected correctly. Anybody ever heard of this happening ? I heard of people having the speakers switch before but it typically reverted back after a restart.
