Hi guys!
I'm looking to upgrade to upgrade to a EVGA GTX 1080 TI, but I do not know which one to get... I'm mainly deciding between the FTW3 and the Black Edition, but the SC2 is not going to get ruled out.

Here is the Newegg links -
FTW3 - https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16814487338

Black Edition - https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16814487336

SC2 - https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16814487337

I'd like to know what you guys think. From what I've researched, the FTW3 version has the best performance, BUT, the highest price. Is the FTW3's performance improved compared to the Black Edition to spend the extra money? Or should I get the SC2 because it is the cheapest. Please tell me what you guys think!

Cheers!:D

Solution
The black edition and SC2 are essentially the same card other than the color, both have the new ICX cooler wich is very nice it has thermal pads between the main heatsink and pretty much any component that produces heat, it's quite overkill but still very nice to see after the controversy with the older ACX coolers on some pascel cards. It also has temp sensors on the VRM which not a lot of other cards have.

The FTW3 will perform nearly the same as the above cards out of the box, there is only a small a small base clock speed difference between them. The FTW3 may possibly overclock a bit better than the SC2 on average as I think they might bin chips for the FTW cards. It also has a more robust power delivery setup than the SC2 which...

That link is showing the black edition as out of stock for me. I would personally get the SC2, its a very nice card, in my opinion the FTW3 is not worth the extra money.

Solution
The FTW3 is the only one with 10+2 power phases, compared to the other two using 7+2. EVGA went above and beyond with this card as far as I understand. Here's a great breakdown of the VRM / PCB layout, and what it means. Whether its worth the extra price or not is up to you, but this, to me, would be one of the main differences between them.
