dual pumps required?

Do I need dual pumps in my setup? I am thinking of getting a thermaltake core p7 and a liquid loop. due to another post it says that it needs two 480mm radiators on either side and the tubing will be quite long. do i need two pumps to pump all of that liquid across the whole machine?

That is a start, but really you need a full list of components.

I can't tell you if you need two pumps if I don't know what the first one is, or without having the flow restriction of the CPU and GPU blocks and radiators.

One quality pump should be enough though. All about circulation and restriction. Given the same number of components, the restrictions should be similar. One CPU and two GPUs with two radiators is pretty common. I've done it, and with a pretty tame DDC pump.

Not really enough detail to say.

You only need two 480mm radiators if you have a lot of stuff to cool. One 480mm is more then enough for a high wattage CPU and GPU.

Dual pumps for redundancy maybe, but generally no, you should only need one pump per custom loop. Unless you wanted to make separate loops for the GPU and CPU respectively.

Ok thank you, can you tell me what detail I'm missing? ( 2 1080ti OC and a i7 7700k OC is what I'm cooling
