Hey,
i have a question concerning the connection of two Thermaltake Riing RGB 14 Fans in combination with the X61 Nzxt AIO watercooler. Do i connect the Riing fans to the controller unit that is connected to "CPU Fan 1"- 4 Pin connector on the mainboard, or do i link them to the daisy ports of the watercooler itself and lose the ability to control the Colour of the Fans?

Right now, the fans on the Radiator are connected to the controller and the mainboard.

I believe the thermaltake Riing fans can ONLY have their color changed by the thermal take controller included with them.
But there's a few editions of them, which one specifically did you get?
http://www.thermaltake.com/cooler.aspx (filter by case fans)

The fans are "pwm" fans with the controller unit they come with, so if that's plugged into the CPU_FAN port, they'll be controlled by the computer as the fans that cool the CPU. (because they are)

It's the old non Software based Fan.. Sadly. Okay. Than i got it right. It's my first Water Aio and i don't want my System to overheat. Thank you very much for your answere.
I installed the Fans to push the air through the Radiator, not ideal but i don't expect very high temperatures since it's on an Xeon processor and under 100% load the max temperature was 55°C while water Temp. stays at 40°. So i am pretty happy with the outcome.
