Hello everyone,

I have an old pc (built in 2008) that i am trying to get it to work. Im using this opportunity to learn. I have been reading this forum a lot and wanted to ask for help this time.

My case only have an exhaust fan on the rear, and some chimney like thing on the side panel where cpu fan can draw in air. Which is seen in the picture. There is not a inlet fan separately.
However, there is a place for a small fan at the front of of the case under the hard disk.

If i wanted to do some upgrades to this case,
Should i place a fan at the front for inlet ?
Should i replace the rear exhaust fan with something bigger and better ?

(Note: On picture both side panels were removed, normally the gap seen there is closed by the panel.)

Thanks

"Should i place a fan at the front for inlet ?"
Yes it will help with improving the airflow.

My recommendation:
If you use this PC daily, I would also buy better case with dust filters and more options for fans.
