It was all going so well until I ran into the 850W!!! PSU. I think What is he getting(or she)[I correct myself like that]. Oh, just a little 1080. It only calls for a 500W. A 550W G2 would be PLENTY. Let's take another look at that 270, over at Newegg. Ahhhh. I see :D Supports NVIDIA 2-Way SLI Technology. You might order another one.

What about https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-SuperNOVA-Modular-Warranty-220-G2-0750-XR/dp/B00IKDETOW/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1499385858&sr=1-1&keywords=750W+G2 for $10 more? Yes, it will EASILY support CPU, GPU and RAM overclocking with SLI and a full boat of drives. See that big snake coming out of that box? You have to keep all those and fill up your cable management dead space. The G2(G3 is same...

You have to keep all those and fill up your cable management dead space. The G2(G3 is same price) is fully modular. You only use the cables you NEED. Neater and cleaner, your case will be.

The RAM is just as important as the rest. Have you made a decision about that?

BTW it's a balanced near top end mainstream build. Nice, very nice.

I would definitely add a 256GB or larger SSD(Samsung Evo or Pro?) to this build. What about a back-up drive?

Yes, everything is compatible. Your GFX card will fit in the case. It isn't too long.

Your Evo will fit in that case with 2mm to spare.

Perfect kit for that board and your needs.

Should you, one day, decide you want to purchase a VR headset that rig is most certainly VR ready.

THe 7700K is known to run a little on the warm side so I do recommend http://www.cmstore-usa.com/hyper-212-evo-120mm-fan-oem-package/ on the other side of your 212. The Evo comes with its own thermal compound and hardware necessary for sound dampening and mounting a second fan which I have done.

You don't need any extra fans. On my Vivo Titan I do have an extra 120 or 140mm(not sure right now) mounted on the top over my 212. It's personal preference. Noctua https://www.amazon.com/Noctua-NF-F12-PWM-Cooling-Fan/dp/B00650P2ZC and Cooler Master and... Corsair are a few brands I recommend.

You get a syringe full. It contains enough for well over 20 applications. I used the thin clamshell my CPU was packaged in(inside the box) to spread the thermal paste. I did use arctic 5. Still have both of them. Some people do pea size and squish. Others go for corners and middle rice size. I dab and spread ultra thin on CPU lid and heatsink base.
