CPU Idling temperature

I built my PC around October last year with a i7 6700k with a Hyper 212 Evo as the after market cooling part. For months it was fine and the CPU would idle at around 24-32 degrees and would jump up whilst gaming to around 45-55 degrees and the same whilst streaming to twitch.

But the last 2 days, its been idling at 50 degrees constantly and even just a simple google search it has been significantly juttery and slow whilst using chrome. Boot time is a tiny slower then normal (booting Windows 10 through my SSD) but once booted my computer should automatically open spotify and discord. Since this has started happening, the boot times of these 2 small programs have been significantly slower.

If anyone has any idea about the problem i'm experiencing, some advice/help would be highly appreciated.

Kind Regards,
Sam

Open task manager ---> Click on X% CPU to sort tasks by CPU usage. Monitor what is using the CPU the most. You might want to remove the fan, clean the thermal paste and add new one. 60C is not bad at all considering your cooler.

Has the ambient temperature changed since you started to notice this issue? I wouldn't be worried unless the temps go in high 70s under load.
