I have a Linksys EA6100, it seems that when ever I use the 5ghz connection with more than one device one of them will randomly drop the connection. I started noticing this with a google pixel c that I brought home from work. I figured the tablet was the culprit and didn't think much of it. But then I bought a Nvidia Shield Tablet and connect my Phone and Tablet at the same time one of them will drop the 5ghz connection almost immediately upon doing anything on the internet. If I disconnect one the other will maintain the connection without issue. My girlfriend is using the 2.4 and never has a problem. I also have brought my tablet and phone to work and never lose connections. Both of these devices are running Android 7.0 which has had some WiFi issues in the past. But I have also reset the WiFi connection settings and have factory reset my phone and installed 7.1.2 through custom firmware, and still this problem pops up.

I have reset the router, changed the frequency and other settings of the 5ghz channel, and tried to make the devices prioritize their connections through the routers settings. I even moved all the electronics away from the router to get rid of any interference that may have been happening. I have also used WiFi spectrum tools to see the WiFi signals and tweak the channels.

I only noticed this with 2 devices using the 5ghz connection. Its like they are interfering with one another in some way .

Edit: Called tech support, was escalated quickly to level 2. Then certified for a RMA. Suppose they have dealt with this before.
