I just found my old motherboard, i want to ensure that my motherboard still functional, but unfortunately the CMOS Battery socket broke when i cleaned it, and CPU socket pin are bent. Is it still safe to test a motherboard kinda like this? Nothing wrong with another components, just the CMOS socket and CPU Socket. I'm going to repair it after testing the motherboard

Motherboard: ASUS P8H61M - LX Rev1.0

Solution
you will have to bend the cpu socket pins back to the standard position or you will shorten the CPU/motherboard and destroy it by testing.
You can´t test and hope it will survie and after that repair/bend back the pins of the CPU socket. Do it before testing, other than doing so will lead to a definitive defective motherboard and/or CPU

maybe yes maybe no, you know the risk like you can kill your cpu if something wrong with what you going to do

Uhh... Yeah i think you right, beside, testing a motherboard with broken component is worth a risk

And i'm sorry if i downvote your answer, my phone lagged and i accidentaly pressed downvote button (i thought it was a reply button :'()

Well i said that because i have 2 broken motherboard and one motherboard can be fixed (ram slot problem) without any issue and the other one killed my CPU (cos i can RMA the CPU so no big deal) . The question now is, are you prepared with the risk? :) . Curiosity worth the risk if you don't have proper tools to testing the motherboard like me
