Where I live the power in unreliable, plugging in something outside turns off the power in my room and that turns off my PC which is bad new bears.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/zJzYGf This my component list
and this is my PSU https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00I3JLHAM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The power turning off like this screwed up my OS and I just don't want to reinstall windows to fix it every time this happens. I know 850w PSU is overkill for my PC but I was young and stupid when I bought it (I think someone told me that's how you overclock, I know. Stupid.) I Just need something that will keep my PC alive for at east five minutes so I can safely shut my PC down and fix the power. I don't really understand the specs listed for UPSs on amazon.

Tbh for this PC, 550w might be not enough, since his GPU is a hungry monster and can consume 380watts on its own.
You would probably need a UPS that can supply 650watts over the course of 5minutes and more, where probably your PC total consumption UNDER LOAD(aka gaming and stressing the machine) is around 600-650 watts.
Meaning that the UPS you would need, probably would say 850-950w nominal output, where in its load graph you would see how much time it would survive under that much load.
From UPS brands, the best that i know are UPC, APC and Eaton.
Lets say you would choose APC:
This model would be able to run you for 5-7minutes under load of 600-650watts -...

It also has an external battery option, where with the external battery you would be able to meet something like 30minutes under 650watts load.
You can check the graph @ the product page, under tech documentation.
Your PC is consuming a lot of watts, so probably you wont be able to find any NON-PRO UPS, that would suit you.
Have in mind, that UPS-es are HEAVY and most of the time, not the most compact things.

I guess, if you could meter your total computer consumption while its under full load, you would be able to perfectly know which UPS to choose.

Edit: in that wattage i am including the Monitor too.
