So I recently got a new secondary monitor and decided to rearrange the wiring behind my desk.

But now I'm getting some kind of electrical feedback whenever I play audio from any kind video source, BUT not when I play a solo audio source like music. It sounds like a 'bzzzt' or fzzt' interrupting the audio flow, and on one specific instance seemed to messed with the video.

Now at first I thought this was an analog audio issue or ground loop causing infrequent issues. So I unplugged and completely removed my speakers away from my setup, and set the audio to run through the HDMI on my video card. But still the error persists in the same manner.

Here's my computer specs:

AMD Phenom II X4 970 Black Edition Dened Quad Core 3.5 GHz

8 GBs of RAM

MoBo: M4N98TD EVO

Video cards: **New** Gigabytes Nvidia GTX 970 4GBs version (main video card which I'm currently running the HDMI to Polaroid TV to test the HDMI audio for issues)

Asus Nvidia GTX 460 (one of the original pair I originally bought for this PC 7 years ago) used as a dedicated PhysX card.

I can't think of any else that's different since I've had the new 970 in my tower for a month with no issues, unless a recent driver update to the 970 is causing issues.

I just don't want the answer to be that there's something wrong with my MoBo because I currently can't afford to buy a new one along with a processor. Please help.

So after a long can of worms involving driver mishaps and removing old video cards. I think I solved the problem, I think there must have been an error with the video driver which was causing visual issues which also created the audio glitches.

I've removed the 460 and now only have the 970 inside and did a fresh install of the latest drivers along with the new second monitor. So far no issues which would usually happen within a minute or two of a video starting.
