Performance Issues with New Build

I just built my first PC and the performance has steadily declined in the last few weeks or so. My components are: AMD RYZEN 5 1600 6-Core 3.2 GHz, GIGABYTE GA-AX370-Gaming K5 Motherboard, G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200, NZXT Kraken X62 RL-KRX62-02 280mm All-In-One Water / Liquid CPU Cooler, EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB SSC GAMING ACX 3.0 graphics card and a Thermaltake Smart Pro RGB 750W power supply.

The issues I am having are declining gaming performance, the monitors will go black as if it were in power saving mode at random. I get blue screen shutdowns. Sometimes in power saving mode, my keyboard lights will be on (started recently). Web based video such as youtube is horribly choppy and pixelated.

Any help at all would be appreciated. Thank you!

Things are happening quickly in the Ryzen ecosystem. Look for new MB BIOS, new power drivers, etc. How hard are you pushing the memory?

If new bios. drivers does not stabilize the system try selective underclocks to see if the problems suddenly go away. Example, drop memory speed and loosen memory timing -- did problems go away? Yes - look into different memory, no -- set memory back to speed and underclock the ryzen or your video card or ... etc. Good luck

Thank you for your advice. It turned out to be a bad PCI-E riser cable.
