No display, no message, would still boot. Dead Graphics Card?

I have a 3 year old system with the ff specs:
i5-4570
Palit gtx 670 jetstream
8gb ddr3 ram
1tb seagate hdd
corsair cx500 psu

Everything ran fine until recently the pc would boot (windows and all) but had no display from the GPU. I switched the monitor cable to onboard graphics and it worked fine, so my monitor is not the problem and i think it would be safe to say that the PSU is also vindicated here.

I tried various amounts of fixes (cmos reset, hard reset, reseating, cleaning the card, etc.) and sometimes it would work and the GPU would be fine again for a while until it won't display anything again and I would have to repeat whatever fix I thought worked. It's usually random when my GPU would show display from a cold boot and a restart or a quick power cycle would fix it, only this time it seems the GPU is does not want to display anything anymore (it's been 24 hours since it last displayed anything), WEIRD THING however is that the GPU's fans and lights are still operating normally and that there have been no weird display artifacts or stress crashes whatsoever. So my question is, (1) has my GTX 670 finally kicked the bucket? (2) Also is there no other way to resuscitate it? (3) Could it be possible that it's just the pci-e port on the motherboard that's broken?

I'm at a loss what to do with it and need an advice. Thanks in advance.

PS. Sadly I've no spare GPU or PC for testing, nor do I have friends that own PCs, also I cannot bake my GPU for revival since I've no oven big enough for it.

Thanks for the help! I think I fixed it? Turns out the red screen of death was a common issue among gtx 600 series of cards, all I did was uninstall MSI afterburner and RivaTuner and the RSOD did not happen again these past 3 days.

As for the no display on boot, I realized that my Voltage Regulator was plugged in an extension cable precariously, so I just transferred its plug into a different and "healthier" power outlet and the no display on boot never happened again these past 3 days. I feel stupid for not trying that earlier, anyway thanks for the help!

Yes they do.

EDIT: GPU showed display again today, so I thought 'why not leave it on' so I wouldn't have to endure through its random dysfunction and left it and turned off the monitor and made sure my pc's sleep mode was off. Display wouldn't show when I checked back on it after 5 hours even though it wasn't on sleep mode, also the gpu was still running. So it seems to happen even if I don't turn it off. Damn.

Somebody else please correct me if Im wrong (im not a 100% pro) The GPU cant be broken if the fans still run (all components are required for the gpu to work ALSO it cant be broken if the GPU sometimes shows a display.

Does your PC have onboard graphics? if so please try them and make sure the PC is detecting the GPU
Edit: also you can try to get your GPU RMA'd if you believe that it's broken

Well if the GPU won't display and I switch to the onboard graphics, the GPU does not appear in device manager, however if the GPU displays and then it shows in device manager even if I switch the onboard graphics, it's weird, it's like it just randomly picks when to work.

Regarding the RMA, I've had my gtx 670 for 3 years and I'm sure the warranty has already ended, and I'm pretty sure Palit's already phased it out, so no RMA hopes for me.

EDIT: On the first working boot today, my GPU welcomed me with a BLANK RED SCREEN right after the windows logo and won't do anything else, after a quick hard restart it worked again. No other artifacts after that, even played some demanding games (TW: Warhammer, Wticher 3) for a few hours to see how it performs and there were no problems. However I'm certain it (no display, etc.) will happen again at some point soon so my request for an advice still stands unfortunately.

Alright! Your GPU is most likely damaged (forgetting what I said above) Also i thought you had just bought a new GPU and it started failing... Welp I hope it starts working correctly as there is nothing else I can do to help if its actually broken. If it stops working again you may need a new GPU.
