How high can I upgrade my cpu?

Hey guys I have a old acer aspire t690 desktop with a Intel pentium 925 3.00 Ghz gpu in it. The socket type is lga 775 but I do not know if I can get a core 2 quad. If I can I would like to know. I really want the Q9650 but i don't know if my mothervoard support them.

Your motherboard will support it as the motherboard supports LGA 775 so the Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650! will work with your motherboard

Not all LGA 775 motherboards support the Intel Core2Quad series of chips. You need to find the specific motherboard and it's CPU Support List to find what is compatible.
