Hi, My 980Ti and just bricked and I'm pretty pissed... It will be a long till i can afford to replace it so I want to improvise.

I have an old HD5670 that I can use but this is severly bottlenecking my CPU, a 6600K.

I also have the option of using integrated graphics, my mobo is an Asus B150 Gaming Aura.
Im not sure how intergrated graphics works but I believe it uses some CPU power to mimic a GPU... so the question is: Would integrated graphics perform better or worse than the HD5670 considering how overpowered the CPU is?

thanks, exactly what I wanted to know. It should do the trick just fine as I'm mainly using PCSX2 and other emulators at the moment which rely heavily on the CPU

Oh and since Im using the integrated graphics do you know does it use any CPU power for the graphics or will I have still the full ability of my 6600k to use??

The integrated graphics HD530 is completely separate from the CPU portion. You should not lose any of the ability of your 6600K.

Technically this has been solved, but From what sources I can find, the HD 530 is ever so slightly faster than the 5670 in raw performance, and should not affect your cpu performance in a meaningful way (other than it sharing the same TDP)
