Need to update driver: Realtek PCIe GBE Family controller

Hello,

My driver is from 2015. On the realtek website: http://www.realtek.com.tw/Downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=14&PFid=7&Level=5&Conn=4&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false

They have a driver for windows 10 that came out this year. But it says for Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller. My driver is Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller. Does the FE vs GBE matter? I cannot seem to find one for GBE.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Usually "FE" would be "fast ethernet" and "GBE" would be "gigabit ethernet" They are not the same. Use the latest drivers your MOTHERBOARD manufacturer has released. That is the safest option.

Why do you believe you need to update the driver for your network interface?
