Recently, audio component in the mainboard deteriorated unexpectedly.
The PSU is placed closely to the mainboard, just like in the picture; near the audio parts.

I don't know if the PSU is working properly, it is new but creates awful sound under load, and I don't have any scope to compare with another same model.

Heat from PSU could damage mainboard components?

Solution
could, yes.. but think about it in physics way.
To damage said components, it would have to raise the ambient temperature to 50C+ or more
to do that, it would need to run itself at over 100C, It would start cooking itself (and if it's making noise, it possibly is doing that)
in any case, said PSU would in that case be too hot to touch

Things to check, while leaving the side panel open:
Is the PSU fan not spinning well when under load (and making said noise)
Is PSU heating up?

if yes, replace PSU

That's right. The core environment would also have to become extremely heated up, and obviously it will get detected already.

Just checked, under heavy load it didn't heat up evidently. Not so sure about the noise though, the troublesome faint high pitch noise is heard only from a distance.

S12-II Seasonic 620 watt, in the second tier, yet surprisingly loud like air-conditioner. I struggled to get it for more than a quarter year from different locations around the world, and now either for the distributor or the OEM disappointed terribly. Probably seasonic PSUs are all a little noisy idk. Just for content I'll be getting a Neo Eco II 450W, I hope this time the distributor or the company is gratifying.
