How do I enable my Intel HD 4600 on my motherboard?

My desktop's specs:
CPU: Intel Core i5 4440
GPU:
-Nvidia GT 625
RAM: 8GB 1600Mhz

On Intel ARK, it says the 4440 has an Intel HD 4600 iGPU onboard. I want to use that instead of my potato GT 625. The 625 overheats for me and throttles everything which makes games unplayable. Anyway, the HD 4600 is probably around the same as the GT 625, so is there a way to use that. When I go to Hwinfo, it says that there is Intel HD graphics, but it says Disabled. I went to the BIOS and I couldn't find anything about GPUs. There are two HDMI ports on my PC, one for the GT 625 and one for, I believe, the HD 4600. The problem with the 4600 HDMI port is that it is blocked by a black covering thing which I cant take out. Anyone know how to take it out or if there is a way to use my Intel HD 4600?

Please do not say anything like that GT 625 is better than the 4600. All I want is to know if I can use the 4600 instead of the GT 625.

Once you take the GPU out and plug it into the motherboard, it should run automatically off the iGPU. No help as "black covering thing" is an incredibly vague description, but you'll definitely need to be plugged into the motherboard's outputs.

The black cover for the motherboard's HDMI port is made of plastic or some hard material. It looks like it can be taken off. i can fit my nail between the case and the black cover, but I can't manage to remove it. The black cover is inside the HDMI port. I opened the case up and tried to take the GT 625 out, but it wouldn't move. I did push the button things that are supposed to loosen the GPU from the slot, but when I try to take it out, it wouldn't.
The PC is by Acer, so maybe they blocked the HD 4600 purposely?

how about you take a picture of the back of your case so we can see?

upload it to imgur and post the link

the gpu should be either held in by a screw, or a backplate since you have a pre-made case

I have the same PC, (and the same issue :D) . This is how the HDMI slot looks from behind https://imgur.com/cBh8kIu . There isn't any screw inside the case.

I took the black cover off the HDMI and started the PC up with the cable plugged into that port, but when I turn the PC on, nothing appears on the display. Maybe it is disabled in the BIOS?
