I have 2 pc, one old, one new(got it yesterday).
I want to transfer data to the new pc. The old pc had virus before(1 year ago) but i cleared it all with Avast and Malwarebyte. Before i transfer, i did a full scan on the old pc again and full scan the pendrive too, no threats were found. But im still a bit scare since its a free antivirus scan. So here are some questions.

1. Lets say if the pendrive actually still remain some virus. Will the virus straight enter my new pc right when i plug in the pendrive? Or it only enters when i transfer my data?

2. My new pc has Avast too, will Avast warn me and auto clear the virus when i plug the pendrive in?

In general, you should only have one AV installed at any one time. The online scanner should be safe as it doesn't link itself deeply into the operating system like a "real-time" scanner but, to be cautious, you could temporarily turn off Avast while it's running so that it doesn't interfere. (It'll also make the online scanner a bit quicker if it doesn't have to wait for Avast to scan each file first!)
