Solution
It's a good PC except for these weak points.

The RAM. You need at least 16GB of RAM for a better experience. Also faster RAM would help as well.
No SSD. If you had an SSD loading times for the OS and games that you have on the SSD would be greatly reduced.
The Power Supply is known to be subpar quality. A better PSU would give your whole PC generally longer life expectancy.

yes indeed it's great for gaming and it's even good for workstation usage if you don't make really huge content creations.

but there is just one tiny problem in your rig and it is the ram, if it's possible, change them. 8gb isn't enough anymore , not for gaming , not for professional use and the speed of your ram is the other problem.

go with 16 gb 8X2 3200 mhz ram with your choice of brand and timing (not that much important)

or if you're using at designing, pro video editing or workstation then go with 32 gb 16x2 3200 mhz ram kits.

As others have said, you've picked older components which have been replaced by better components at the same price, and don't have an SSD. Change to a cheaper Z270 board, 7700K and throw in a solid state drive and some more RAM.

Edit: You might want a Cryorig H7 instead of the Cooler Master heatsink. The 212 was a good choice 7-8 years ago, but has been replaced by better ones.
