Can you overclock an i7-860 CPU with an MS-7613 (Iona-GL8E) motherboard?

I currently use an MS-7613 (Iona-GL8E) motherboard and I wou8ld like to overclock my CPU with it. I want to purchase an i7-860, and I want to get the maximum power out of it. Here's the link to the motherboard: https://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c02014355

No, OEM motherboards (like yours) usually do not have overclocking capability.

To overclock you would need one of the boards I linked in the other thread. The I7 860 runs 2.8 GHz and will turbo boost to 3.46GHz on it's own. OEM boards do not have bus frequency adjustment to go above 133 FSB. and then you need higher MHz ram as it will go up with the FSB. Where my I3-530 did 200 FSB with 1600 MHz DDR3 the I7 860 would use a 169 FSB at a lowered 8:1 multiplier for 1356MHz ram or 10:1 1693MHz. Stock 1333 is 10:1 of 133 FSB
