Is this build good for 1080p gaming and editing?

It's good for 1080P/60 FPS gaming and the CPU is good for editing. The two things I would change is getting a larger SSD (240gb+) if possible and selling that PSU and getting a better quality unit such as the Corsair CXM or EVGA B3 as the B1 in the build is a pretty low quality unit and you really don't want to put a cheap PSU into a gaming build (can damage other parts or even catch on fire).

I would go with a good quality 550W+ PSU to give you room for upgrades and overclocking. As far as the GTX 970 it's still a good gaming card @1080P.
