Hello.
My psu have this eco mode which shouldnt use fan until heavy load. But even in idle i can hear that fan is spinning. I have eco mode ON.
My specs are:
6700K stock,
Strix 1070 8GB
2x8GB G.Skill
Z170 Pro Gaming Aura
3TB WD Red and 1TB WD Blue
Samsung Evo 840 250GB
Phanteks Enthoo Pro M
Evga Supernova GS 650W
1x 140mm Phanteks fan on front. 1x 140mm Phanteks on rear. 2x Enermax TB 120mm on top. Shadow Rock Slim on Cpu.

Temps in idle are ok. Cpu around 35, gpu around 40, hdds and ssd around 35.

Any advice what to do? This fan is not so quiet.. actualy i can hear little rattling :(

Solution
If i remember correctly, EVGA Eco mode doesn't control the PSU fan by the load on the PSU but instead by the internal temp of the PSU.
With this kind of control, your PSU fan can run all the time and most people turn off the Eco mode completely. Though, it's best when the fan is controlled by the load on PSU, as it's done on Seasonic PSUs.

Turn the Eco mode off and look if there's improvement.
