I've tried these methods:

http://www.teamfortress.tv/32997/overclocking-your-usb-port-in-esea

http://itsuite.it.brighton.ac.uk/ok27/Web%20Assignment%20FINAL/index1.html

http://www.overclock.net/t/596276/changing-usb-polling-rate-to-1000hz-or-lower

But I can't seem to get my MS 1.1a above 125hz. I've read that you must disable xHCI in bios, but I checked and that was already disabled (xHCI Hand-Off). Maybe the problem lies in the fact that I am using usb 3.0 ports instead of 2.0?

Any and all answers are appreciated.

I don't "need" a faster mouse. It is easy to tell the difference between 125hz and 1000hz even though it is a few millisecond different. I have also used 1000hz in gaming for a long time now, so the difference would be even more noticeable.
