I have two DDR2 PC2-6400 (400 MHz) 2GB RAMs in my PC.
One of them is Apacer with this timing info:
(CL-tRCD-tRP-tRAS-tRC)
5.0-5-5-18-23 @ 400 MHz
4.0-4-4-12-16 @ 266 MHz
3.0-3-3-9-12 @ 200 MHz
Another is Hynix with this:
6.0-6-6-18-24 @ 400 MHz
5.0-5-5-15-20 @ 333 MHz
4.0-4-4-12-16 @ 266 MHz
When the BIOS is set as Auto, it choose 333 MHz not 400.
I tested and see i can set it manually to 800 instead of auto and the final info by cpu-z becomes:
5.0-6-6-18 @ 400 MHz
Why Auto config select a lower speed and which setting is better for my performance?
