The be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3 actually does fit in the NZXT S340 case. As shown in the following builds (different color version of the case, but same dimensions):

"I have fitted NZXT 2m LED's in the case which is required in my eyes for the S340 combined with the Dark Rock Pro 3 which according to PCPartPicker does not fit."
