PC Specs:
Alienware 14 Laptop
core i7 4700MQ
8GB RAM
nvidia GeFore GT 750M

I recently tried updating my nvidia drivers to the latest 384.76 version and downloaded them from the nvidia website (NOT from Geforce Experience).First time I tried, the driver installation failed, so I re-tried and then the PC crashes. So I reboot and then cant find even my previous drivers installed. I go to device manager and wanted to do a fresh start with my nvidia GPU drivers, so i go to display adapters and right click on my nvidia GPU and click uninstall drivers. The GPU then disappears from my device manager altogether. I checked out some other forums and they said check under "other devices" tab, but couldnt find anything similar to the GPU's name, i tried using command prompt and typed in some commands to show hidden devices in the device manager but still couldnt find my GPU anywhere. When i try to install the driver package, it says "Nvidia Installer cannot continue","could not find any compatible hardware". So i looked up into some other forums and they told me to use the DDU to exterminate all kinds of traces of nvidia driver files, i did download that but DDU dosent detect my Nvidia GPU but instead detects my INTEL HD Graphics, and i dont want to remove my intel graphics drivers. I also tried a system restore but in the end it failed, i had 3 restore points, tried all of them (even in safe mode) and every time it failed. I even updated my BIOS to the latest version from DELL's website but still cant find my GPU. Please Help!

Have you tried downloading the graphics driver from Dells website? If that doesn't work try GeForce Experience.

Alienware Nvidia Graphics 331.65 Driver is the old driver on Dells website. It is pretty old (2014) but install it anyway. Once you install it, update it to the latest version using GeForce Experience.

I've been having the same exact issue with the same exact specs. I tried updating my nvidia drivers, restarted my computer afterwards, and when i logged back on there was no nvidia driver in device manager, GeForce experience couldnt find my gpu, and Nvidia control panel couldnt find my gpu. Can't download any drivers from the site as well since every download checks your system for the gpu and cant detect in either (vicious cycle, huh?). Because of this older drivers wont solve anything. Any pointers would be a great help!
