On my headphones the plug broke, so i removed it and a bit of the plastic stuff that surrounds the cable so the wires are exposed. The problem is while doing this i accidentally cut into the red wire a little bit so a couple threads of copper have been cut off from it. What I would like to know is if that would impair audio quality and or anything else to do with the headphones. Good quality audio is important to me so if it does change the sound quality in any way i will strip the wire further and try not to cut the red wire again.
