So I ran memtest and got alot of errors so what I did was I bought new ram but same thing happens, is the mobo faulty?

Having two sets of RAM putting up errors on the same board is suspicious.

What kind of set is it? If there are multiple sticks in the old and new sets, try each individually, and try each slot on the board (it's exhaustive work, yes). If all sticks fail it's a lot more likely the board than a bunch of sticks at once, also if one slot has trouble while others work that points to the board too.

Well that does cast suspicion on the motherboard. I notice from the pic it's a recent build (i7-6700). You might want to check if the board is still under warranty, and contact the manufacturer.

Let me ask though, have you modified any memory settings? I'm assuming this is at default settings. To reset the BIOS you can pop out the little round button battery on the board (look for a clip on the side to release it) and unplug the system for a couple of minutes.

The reason I suggest goin to the new RAM vendor 1st, unlike the older stuff, there's no doubt as to the availability of warranty support. So that's guaranteed free technical assistance that will help you determine the cause of the problem. Ofc, if the MoBo is still within the support period, that is another option.
