I bought an external hard drive for my ps4 so I can install more games, but my dad suggested that I should have hooked it to my pc instead so that I could play World of Warcraft without it lagging so much. The thing is, after the pre-patch for the Legion expansion, the system requirements went up, so my computer just barely meets the min, it lags a lot whenever there's a lot of players fighting together, like in raids even with settings at the lowest. But my parents are starting to drive me insane thinking that more memory will solve everything. So can any experts please tell me whether or not memory is such a huge factor and if the external hard drive will help?
If it helps my operating system is Windows 7, I have 2gb ram installed, and my internal hard drive is using 121 gb out of 295 gb, my cpu is Intel Core duo 4400 @ ghz, my video card is AMD Radeon HD 6450, and the external hdd is a WD Elements 1 TB.
