I cloned my HDD to a Samsung 250GB SSD, I'm using windows XP (Just an old computer that I want to keep).
I had to purchase a IDE to SATA / SATA to IDE adapter because the mother board does not have SATA connections.
I powered the adapter and the SSD.
When I start my computer I receive a message: 'hard drive is not recognized', so I can not boot.
I had to install old HDD.
Any suggestions why SSD is not been found in the BIOS? I connected the SSD after I boot the computer using the old HDD and I can see it using Windows Explorer, all files are in there.
Thank you in advance.
