Hey, I recently built my own CPU and I when I run a game it starts okay but after 20 seconds the game hangs up, I can hear sounds and everything the screen flashes and then the game shutdowns without producing any error window or notification. I don't know what's happening I already deleted and re-installed drivers, even formatted my PC and re-installed Windows but my problem persists. My specs are:

CPU: i7 7700 8M Cache 4.20 Ghz
Motherboard: MSI B250M Pro-VH
Graphics Card: Asus Dual GTX 1060 6gb
RAM: 8GB DDR4
Hard Drive: WD Blue 1TB 7200 rpm

I should be able to run 90% of games or all games on at least High and Ultra settings yet my games close.

Solution
Check that the GPU sits properly in the socket. Have you check the temp while playing and idle?

have you tried to reset bios?
Unplugg all cables, remove the MoBo battery, press and hold the power button for 20 sec to get rid of all the power. Wait 5-10 min. Put the battery back in and plug the cables in. Start the PC
