I have this monitor Dell S2715H 27" LED Monitor im buying 1080 ti to upgrade my pc , i think this monitor is good but its 60hz...How do you rate this monitor for gaming?

Solution
PUBG, Arma 3, etc are poorly optimized games. You will have issues with those games regardless of the GPU you use. PUBG is still in early access and given its success, I think that it be optimized better moving forward. I have twin 1080ti's in sli and still get frame drops in PUBG. Dont even get me started on Ark Survival Evolved.

But this is the best time in the world to own a 1060 6gb. With the whole mining craze going on right now I would throw that on craigslist to pay for an upgraded GPU. Im not sure what they are going for, but I know that 570/580 are around $400/500 each. You may be able to get the same for a 1060 6gb and upgrade to a 1080 for next to nothing.

If you play those games with a 1080 on a monitor with...

With all things considered? a 0. A 1080p 60Hz monitor will hold that card back. Buy a race car but keep to the city streets. Only thing that monitor has going for it is its IPS panel. For a 1050Ti? Perfect.

If that's all the money you can afford to spend on a monitor after purchasing a 1080 Ti then you need to downgrade to a 1080 and invest more into the monitor.

I would not pair that monitor with a 1080ti. You will only be using about 25% of its capability. You can go with 4k, but they are expensive and you wont get the high refresh rate.I would get a 1440p, high refresh rate monitor with gsync.

Gsync is expensive, but gaming will never look the same again. IPS panels are higher than TN, but have better color and viewing angles. While TN panels have lower lag times. Here are two options that will pair nicely with a 1080ti that are reasonable in price.

I have 1060 but for some games 1060 6gb ISNT just enough even for 1080p for example PUBG ( Playeruknowkns battlegrounds , squad , arma 3 and stuff like that ) GTX 1080 TI will get this stuff on 60fps for long time...

If you play those games with a 1080 on a monitor with gsync, you will never notice the FPS drops as gsync matches the refresh rate on your monitor to the refresh rate of your GPU.
