Massive upgrade from my 7 year old build- Star Citizen

Hey Guys,

Looking to create a new build from scratch and ready to ditch my 7 year old which has served its purpose. Can you guys please provide some opinions or advice on the components I'm looking to get? Im looking to build a gaming PC - High - Ultra setting at 1080x1980 resolution with head room to upgrade should the need arise. I'm specifically looking at AMD at the moment because of Ryzen. Not sure how this build will do for the upcoming Star Citizen but also looking to max games out such as BF1, mmo's such as Guild Wars 2. Not sure what AMD will bring out in the next few years in terms of their CPU's but I can imagine the AM4 socket won't last too long. Overclocking, I'm considering but only looking at air cooling at the moment.

Here are my current specs from my old build:
- AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition Socket AM3 3.8GHz
- Coolermaster silent 80plus Certified Efficiency PSU 400w
- 8GB Dual Channel G-Skill RIPJAW DDR3 1600MHz
- AMD ATi Radeon HD 6850 1GB GDDR5 PCI-E Graphics Card
- Asus M4A88T-V EVO/USB3 880G CrossfireX Motheboard
- Coolermaster Elite 430 All Black Interior Mid Tower Case

Here are the parts im looking to put together and stuck between a few:

Mobo -
- ASRock X370 Taichi, AMD X370, S AM4, DDR4, SATA3, M.2
- Asus ROG CROSSHAIR VI HERO
- ASRock X370 Killer SLI, AMD X370,
- MSI X370 SLI PLUS, AMD X370, S AM4, DDR4, SATA3, M.2

CPU-
- AMD Ryzen 5 1400
- AMD Ryzen 5 1500X

GPU-
-EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 GAMING 6GB

PSU-
- 850W Seasonic M12 II EVO Edition, Full Modular, 80 PLUS Bronze
- 1000W SilverStone Strider Gold Evolution, Full Modular - Room for 2/3 cards in the future.

I am yet to decide which tower case to purchase and ram which is dependant on the mobo I get. If you guys can point a few out, that will really help. Also, would it be possible using some of my old components in my new build, for example, the HD 6850 or ram? Until I can save up for much better parts?

So what do you guys think? Any alternatives, a bit of education from those elite members as well anyone else, its all welcome and much appreciated. Peace!

there is a lot of problems in this build because you cant sli with 1060 and 850w or 1000 is to much you can change the mobo to 350b and psu to 500-650 you cant take the rams from your old pc to your new one because your old rams is ddr3 and your mobo support ddr4 + what is your budget so I can do a build for u

@CrAzYWoW Thanks for your reply. I don't really have a budget but anything between £600-900 should be enough for what Im expecting. What would you recommend in terms of a build? If I was to Sli in the future, would keeping the 850 or 1000w practical?

if u want to sli in the future I recommend you to change the video card to 1070 and the mobo to x370 and get another 1070 in the future + wait for the gpu prices to come down

Well, im thinking of picking the Asus Prime X370-Pro for now. I've read some good reviews and seems like the best choice for what I want. What do you think? Also, any idea's on which gtx 1070 to get or the cheapest one? I've also picked some parts here's the link.
