No display when Windows 10 loads: not a GPU issue

I've been having some issues with my PC. It all started a wee while ago when I booted it up, it loaded windows and once windows stopped showing the spinning windows wheel the display goes black. I've tried putting my GPU in my brothers computer, and it worked a charm, and I've tried a clean install of Windows on a spare hard drive. It showed up, I was able to install it and run Windows normally but once I installer the Nvidia driver for my GPU the display went black. The computer continues to operate normally as far as I can tell, just no display. I know this GPU driver is fine because I used this same version on my brothers PC and it worked fine.

So, the finger of suspicion now points to my motherboard. I can't see any bent pins, and my processor runs fine in my brothers PC. Any ideas what might be causing this issue and/or if I can fix it?

Many thanks!

System specs: Intel core i5-2400, Gigabyte P67-UD3-B3, 8GB GSKILL RAM, 1TB HDD, Gigabyte GTX 770.

My PSU is an Antec 620w Neo Eco 80plus, and my board is P67 which has no on-board video, which makes diagnosis more annoying.
