I would go to a 1080 but i have already purchased a 1070 because i didn't plan on doing any 4k gaming . But was also looking for the best micro atx motherboard that would work with a 1070 and a I5 6600

Explanations for stuff:
R5 1600 for 6c/12t, with the pretty badass Fractal celsius AIO for thermal headroom for overclocking.

G.Skill Flare, while not the cheapest stuff out there, is one of the few high-speed RAM kits that is fully verified by AMD to work on AM4. Ryzen loves fast RAM.

X370 motherboards are overkill for the use case IMO, so B350 it is, just to cut a few corners where corners can be cut.

I picked a GTX1080 out of the list at random. Since I can't make the pricing thing match Canadian vendors, you'll have to figure that out. Or you can get a GTX1060 6GB, which is powerful enough to max out most games at 1080p, and save a couple bucks. A couple hundred bucks.

EVGA G3 PSU's are top notch, and not that expensive.

I like the Define C for being one of the smallest full ATX-motherboard cases I can cram a whack ton of water cooling into. Personal bias though. A few other cool-looking cases I like are the new Inwin 101, Aerocool P7-C1, Phanteks Enthoo Pro M, Cooler Master's upcoming HAF refresh, and their Masterbox5 series. I personally think all corsair cases other than their air 240, 540, 740, and 600C are of atrocious build quality. I certainly hated it both times I built in their flagship 900D case. I also broke at least a handful of things in each 900D, which also sliced up my hands/arms. If all else fails, NZXT S340 and its variants, Phanteks P300/P400 and other variants, and Inwin 303 are good places to start researching on those kinds of cases.

Edit: I'm too late. Oops.
