Hi, im not very good with pcs so i need some help. My pc inst very good and i want to upgrade it so i can play some more resource demanding games.right now i play csgo with an average of 40 - 50 fps. i want to upgrade to a gtx 1050 ti but i dont know if my motherboard will work with it and need help.

my computer -

AMD Quad-Core FX-4300 processor
3.80GHz, 4MB L2 Cache

8GB DDR3 SDRAM system memory (expandable to 32GB)

NVIDIA GeForce GT730 Graphics
With 2GB dedicated graphics memory

MSI 760GMA-P34(FX) (MS-7641)

atx 350w power supply.

I want to know if the 1050 would even work better with the motherboard i have now and if i need to upgrade.

Would help to know where you will be purchasing as it affects pricing and availability. Any preferred online vendors and a budget would be a help too. It is kind of hard to pick without knowing this and usage (overclocking, hours of use, etc.) Here are four suggestions in the budget price range with varying wattage.

The FX 4300 is a tier 4 CPU and for AM3+ you would likely have to move to a FX-8xxx series CPU to see a good upgrade.

But your mobo is very low quality budget board and I caution installing an FX-8xxx CPU.

You are good to go with a GTX 1050 Ti upgrade, mobo and PSU are compatible. Looks like you would be in the region of 260W with a GTX 1050 Ti so you should be okay. But that would be my worry, the PSU. It depends a lot on make and model.

But if you are trying to squeeze every bit of life out of the build without fear of system failure I would be looking at an FX-8300. Stay away from any 125W CPU's.

You might want to consider a new CPU/Mobo/RAM a Ryzen 5 1400 build or i3-7100 build would be a great budget choices depending on which games you play. The 1400 is an overclock capable build.
