Hey All,
I have recently bought and build my own pc.
When usage began I went into the BIOS to make sure everything is working properly and like it should.
Parts Below:

In the BIOS I had set the ram to run at 'AUTO" frequency so that I wouldn't run into any problems.
As you probably saw I bought DDR4 2666 ram. It is AUTO running at 2133 megahertz.
I want it to run at 2666 (the base clock for the ram itself) but the motherboard manual states that "Based on processor specification the memory DIMM voltage below 1.35V is recommended to protect the processor" ----------->(SEE http://imgur.com/a/qvggd) <-----------
I want to know, is it safe to run the ram at DDR4 2666? Or should I keep it at 2133?
I did clock it to 2666 before and nothing happened immediately, though I did notice it run higher than 1.35V this worried me so I switched it back to AUTO and of course it went back to 2133 megahertz.
Any help would count, I am a quick replier :)
-Thanks

Ignore the manual, its just a guideline, max manufacturers specifications say 1.35v is the max, but you can go higher than that, so run your ram at 2666mhz 1.35v, it will run all day long perfectly fine like that, mine is at 1.35v right now and has been since I built my machine months ago, ive even been upto 1.4v with it for a short time whilst trying to get my overclock stable.

If everyone followed specs, no one would ever overclock their CPUs or anything and bang extra voltages through things.

Ok, so just a heads up when I enter my BIOS and select XMP, it says the ram is running at DDR4 2400Mhz???? This runs at around 1.23V... (Profile 1)
When i try to enter profile 2 for XMP it goes into DDR4 2667Mhz, this then runs at 1.36-1.37V. Is this safe to be using??

Yes.

Mine is basically the same, it has 2 xmp profiles, my ram is rated for 3200mhz, but profile 1 is 3000mhz 1.35v and profile 2 is 3200mhz 1.35v but stock is 2133mhz 1.2v

Think of it like this, in simple terms, they finish building the ram at the factory, all of them are 2133mhz 1.2v, then they put them on a machine or test bench and they start slowly turning up the speed, let's say for instance, your kit on the test bench got to 2400mhz at stock voltage of 1.2v but wouldn't go higher at that voltage, they then program that into profile 1, then they continue to raise voltage and speed upto 1.35v because they know this voltage is safe, whatever speed it will do, gets programmed into profile 2, yours managed 2666mhz stable, mine managed 3200mhz mhz stable, they can sell mine for more, money making pot, it's not totally like that, that's just a simple way of putting it, different chips are capable of different speeds, some will only do 2133mhz and don't overclock at all, others can do 4000mhz at 1.35v.
