Cooler master hyper t4 Not cooling PC When pc is standing!?

I've installed the hyper T4 CPU cooler but the problem is when my pc is standing the heavy Cooler does not make full contant with my cpu thus i get super high temps like 60-70.

When i open the side panel and apply pressure to the cooler i can see my temps going down to 30-40. The problem is that the stupid AMD bracket is not secure it is very crappy (and a super pain in the ass to install in my experience.)

When i lay my pc flat on its side the cooler makes full contact with the cpu and i get super good temps.

How can i fix my Cooler not fully making contact when standing up? The problem is with the crappy amd brackets or something.

EDIT: I Don't think i need to replace the backplating or the brackets because since i have AMD i think you can just clip it on with the lever clip thing. The problem is the Lever clip thing is not holding it down securely or something..

Help is SUPER appreciated...

if locked the lever and the heatsink doesn't stay in place i would check if i can replace those plastic parts where the locked mechanism goes, perhaps is broken or is not properly screwed in place

i was checking some details, if yours is a normal t4, the backplate is not required, only for intel cpus, all you need to do is put the lever and lock it

if the plastic arms, the plastic bracket near the socket is not doing a proper job, you would need to replace them

but if you locked the arm, top and bottom and them secured the latch, the plastic part on the upper or lower side, it should remain in place

the one that needs the blackplate is the evo 212
