I narrowed down already some motherboards which look good, though i am still uncertain which one would be best for my use:

- AsRock Fatal1ty Z270 Gaming K6
- MSI Z270 Gaming M3
(they are both around similar prices currently $155 for AsRock and $150 for MSI, without rebates added)

i read some reviews and looked through the motherboard pages for features, etc though the MSI one only had 1 review from KitGuru.

Some Features that i am looking for:
- good overclocking for an i7-7700k
- good ddr4 memory overclocking and support
- m.2 ssd support (both of them have 2 ports, though they take/disable different parts, AsRock disables up to 4 SATA ports if you occupy both m.2 while i believe msi disables 1 sata port if you occupy m.2_1 or disables PCI_E4 if you occupy M.2_2)

AsRock's motherboard also has less Rear Panel I/O usb ports, then the MSI one does. as well seems to support SLI/Crossfire (Though not a feature i see much value in, since it doesn't seem to offer much with performance in most games)

the only reason i guess that would drive me to the AsRock would be if it's better with ddr4 memory OC and support as well with CPU Overclocking of a i7-7700k. and maybe the m.2 ports since (i think) i remember it having better storage performance compared to the msi board i mentioned. Other than that, the msi one seems to be the one, i should be going for, i have no use for crossfire/sli, though MSI does support 2-way crossfire though from the review it does mention that the motherboard isn't built for efficient SLI/Crossfire, plus the MSI comes with more rear usb ports as opposed to the AsRock one.
