I'm looking for a laptop that can edit in Davinci Resolve 14.

Video res: 1920x1080@60fps
Budget: $750

My priority is to have a smooth timeline playback with no lag. I don't care about render time.

Solution
You need at least an i7 7500u, that's the thing, and the deals at the moment for a little bit more give you significantly better performance, so there's really no reason not to, halves rendering times, allows for much smoother playback and will serve you better. a mobile i5 will be laggy even scrubbing a timeline, that's using my i5 4210u laptop as a reference here.
A graphics card will help with acceleration and general stability too depending on the program.

he is just doing editing tho not gaming

Looks like a nice laptop. My priority is to be able to watch playback at 30fps with no lag. Would I need something better than Intel HD graphics than that? Like a GTX 1050?
