CAN I CONNECT FULL HD MONITOR WITH LAPTOP Having no graphic card

I am having lenovo s510p with 1366x768 resolution, it dosent have graphic card.
i purchased 22" dell s2216H full hd monitor having 1920x 1280 resolution

if i connect through HDMI and swithoff monitor screen will my laptop performance suffer and go out of life.

please clarify my doubt..

so i can decide to use it or not.

well, the higher the resolution, the smaller the text and icons will get, but will increase quality. You can change the font size in windows settings, if it´s too small for you.

if you just switch it off by button then yes, just brightness. If you switch to external monitor, it should be completely off in most laptops, but could be brightness off as well. But wouldn´t matter to you ;)

again, all settings for internal or external monitors won´t damage or decrease lifetime of these.

so can i use 1920 with ease?
if so,
in my laptop also its showing up 1920x1280 resoultion which is so small is it ok ?

2. when I switch off my laptop monitor button. i can still the window more in black view, as if its just reducing the brightness of the screen to 0? i can still see the screen very dull black mode?
is it true that laptop only reduces the brightness while switching off the screen.?
