Will GTX 1050ti run on core 2 quad PC??

I have an old core 2 quad PC. I want to play games like watch dogs 2 . I don't want to change my CPU instead i wanted to upgradeit to GTX 1050ti.
when i went to the shop, the shop keeper told me that GTX 1050ti will not run in my PC?? I felt bad ? will it really not run?

MY PC SPEC

CPU = Intel core 2 quad Q9550 2.83ghz.
RAM= 8 gb DDR2
motherboard= Intel DG33bu
GPU= (currently) GT 710 2gb DDR3 low profile.
PSU = Corsair VS450
Monitor= Mitashi IIILED TV

can you really help me out should i get GTX 1050ti for it or not?

well that is a very good question and a difficult one to give a precise answer.
as for the guy that gave you that statement, I would of asked as to why it would not? but I am not curious enough to do that.

Can a 1050ti run with a Duo Core 2 Q9550 ? in theory there is nothing that should hold it back, except the motherboard bios.
I have an Asus P5QVl board with a Q8300 and I run a ATi HD 7850 video card on it which is in it own respect a similar card and I had no issues.

will it run on your system, it may yes, like it may not... but likely will

and under google plenty of people that ran a 1050 ti with their q9550...

i had the same computer and a RX 460 2G running without problems

you must upgrade your graphic card, your computer will improve a lot. For sure


my motherboard is an Asus extreme 1 edition, and W7
