Does Maximus IX hero needs an extra sound card?

Hello everybody, I'm currently on the last part of my build: Got myself a pair of Edifier speakers, the RT1700BT model, and connected those on the motherboard, a Maximus IX. Is it worth to buy a sound card? I was looking the Asus Strix Raid Pro, but maybe it wont make any difference at all. Is it worth buying or should I consider the sound section finished? Thank you!

The motherboard has a rather high-quality onboard sound chipset (ASUS calls it "SupremeFX"), so I doubt you're gonna need a dedicated sound card unless you're a audiophile that only buys music on vinyl.
