140mm fan, in a 240 AIO radiator?

So the rad uses two 120mm fans and is being used for intake in a NZXT S340 case.

I think the case is needing a bit more intake air. Feels a little starved for air.

I was thinking about replacing either the bottom or the top 120mm fan for a 140mm (can only do that with one of them, because the other would be holding the AIO in place, so probably the bottom fan).

The case has either two 120mm or two 140mm mounting holes in the front.

So, bottom line, this 140mm fan would be cooling the rad, in part, and giving extra out cooling for the case (on the part of the fan that goes out of the rad).

Would I lose a lot of performance on the AIO, with this setup? Not worth it?

You will actually get worse cooling with a 140mm then a 120mm on the radiator. Most of the air will go on the outside of the radiator instead of being forced through it since air will take the least amount of resistance.

Your best bet it to get some static pressure fans and force more air through the radiator.

The AIO is the Cooler Master Seidon 240v. It comes with the Silencio 120mm fans PWM. They aren't loud at all, and I like that, but are they bad/below-average on the performance side?

Anyone ever used them?

I bought the corsair magnetic levitation fans, and I have to say, that they are the best fans I have ever owned (and they better be, they are not cheap). The fans are designed to provide both, static pressure and high airflow. There is no metal to metal contact, they have 4 pin connectors for PWM, and the LED looks nice. In my opinion, they are the Lexus of fans. Only thing they don't have is RBG, but that is no big deal for me. Here is a link:
