GT 1030 compatibility with gigabyte ga 78lmt s2

i have jus bought GT 1030 and i am goin to pair it with gigabyte ga 78lmt s2 MOBO using HDMI to VGA active adapter to my 720p ViewSonic monitor. Would this just be fine? Need opinions.. thnx

yup.it will work.if u are worried that newer gen card wont work,u can always go for the 750ti which deliver the same performance.but it should work.

jus an upgrade from hd 5450.... mainly for eSports and casual games ... most of the time watching movies and all

A GTX-1050 might be a better fit for eSports AND it will beat the 750Ti in everything, but the 1030 should be able to mostly handle the workload, especially at 720p
