Computer won't turn back on

I've got an ibuypower pre build which has ran fine for the last year. Yesterday I went to shut it down as usual through the start menu and when I went to turn it on later it wouldnt turn on. I have the light inside the case signifying there is power going to the power supply. It will only turn back on if I unplug it completely and plug it back in. When I do this I get the message at start up saying anti surge kicked in. Do I just need a new power supply?

What are the specs to your system? Need to know that for the size of the PSU.

I would not go cheap on a PSU though as you have learned the hard way this time. A lot of these prebuilt systems have a poor quality PSU. I like the EVGA G2 or G3 series. Seasonic and Corsair also makes a good PSU. I would not go with any other vendor than one of those.

This is a very good quality PSU. Pending on your system, you may need a bigger PSU than 650 watts, but doubtful.
